Just received some information from a friend on FB. "That border terrier Alfie that's missing when did he vanish only friend who owns a pet shop told me dog warden picked one up late sat bonfire night so Alfie should be at manc dogs home if it's him"

I noticed hippy chick that you posted that the owners are visiting MDH in the next couple of days. Bonfire night was obviously the day before Alfie went missing but you never know, someone may have got the dates mixed up along the way. Keeping my fingers crossed for Alfie :)

Hi Ashmark' I live in area SK6..The area is not far from the border of Tameside so i have suggested the owners register him with Stockport and Tameside council..I have posted on Manchester Dogs Home, Tameside Animal Shelter, RSPCA Tameside and RSPCA Stockport Facebook sites. I have also registered him with the Animal Wardens. Because the owners arent from that area i will search for vets where they can drop posters off etc :)

Just spoken to Alfie's owner. He ran off after a Lab and never returned which is very out of character for him. Owners do not live in the area so any help with postering would be greatly appreciated. They are going back up there tomorrow to put posters up and have placed an ad in the local paper. I have suggested the also contact the local radio station.Last edited: 2011-11-08 15:09:18 by AlisonH
