Wonderful news, I was so pleased when Paula rang and am very happy to read that he has no serious injuries. Will take down any posters I see and keep looking out for Alfie and Satchmo. Just hope they are both found safely and very soon.
mike_p
Absolutely delighted to hear that Luca is home. Now we can concentrate on looking for Satchmo and Alfie who are expected to be in the same area. I'll also enjoy taking down some of the posters that have sprung up all over the woods!
PaulaK

Thank everyone so so much for there help. LUCA IS HOME!. I have taken him to the vet straight away. He has a ripped pad and cut on his right front paw. Small cuts and bruises over the rest of him but no broken bones or anything serious. He is rather skinny and very scared but no major issues. It took me around 10 minutes to corner him in a field in Garsons Farm as he would not come anywhere near me. After a split second of being cornered you could see the look on his face change as he recognised me and came bounding over now i have scratches on my face lol. He has some antibiotics and anti inflammatory tablets for a week and will probably be a bit stiff. I just wanted to say a huge massive THANK YOU to everyone your all amazing!!!
PaulaK
Was soooooooooo happy to get the "we have found him !!" call - found on garsons farm after someone recognised him from a poster. Badly battered but walking and no doubt very happy not to be spending another night in the cold. Will update on his condition as soon as I have news. Woooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooo welcome home Luca!! Massive thanks to all who helped the search including the gang from BigGSD out at night with night vision goggles - massive massive thanks

Good to see you on here Ian - good luck today
Ian E
Thank you everyone for all your help. I am the owner and have been out again today searching the common and up to the American School where it believed that he was hit, still no luck! I have also been on the other side of the A3 today. I will be out on a push bike with my brother this afternoon looking on the Claygate side of the woods in case he has run off in that direction. He is a very timid dog and i think it is unlikely that he will approach anyone he doesn't know but any sightings would be amazing. Again thank you so much for all of your help.
PaulaK
Im sure owner will appreciate your help

Sadly neither hersham or molesey have heard anything. But have left my phone number and I will contact the owner if I hear anything. Have also posted on our Forum.
Lurcher SOS
This dogs owner has actually knocked on our door tonight as we are bordering common land the dog may have run on to. They have been searching all around until now. I am just going to ring the emergency vets in Hersham see if he was brought in there.
