great news, a lot of dogs seem to be skittish this time of year, wish we could ban fireworks other than organised displays. Well done getting him back

Ok .. thanks. Suggest you try calling him in early morning or evening where you lost him, ie. when it is quiet, shaking food in a bowl(?)etc altho I know the woods are quite a big area he may just hear you. Also check with the dog warden and vets ..daily if possible. Hopefully Floyd will be back with you soon. Good luck!
