Do you have any other photos of this dog. My male spaniel went missing on 11th November in the South West Dog Lost id 34706 - it looks so much like my boy. I realise he's been rehomed but if it's him we would do anything to get him back to us.

It seems he has been rehomed to a home that work with gun dogs as it was almost certain this was a dog used to this type of work so will switch now to reunited as now REHOMED

The kennels this dog is at do not PTS after 7 days but rehome. In fact most of the kennels i deal with in this area also do the smae. Its very rare to have to have a dog PTS- itrs normally if dog is injured and in pain or on a very rare occasion is too agressive for rehoming.

I will check with DW to see what has happend with this lad and up date

and so many dogs found in this area, so his owner could be anywhere. So many different places for them to trawl thru' to find this dog.

c.J. - can this doggy please be given longer than the 7 days. there have been so many spaniels stolen in this area, its bound to take longer to find his owners. He deserves a longer chance....If they need donations towards his keep while he's waiting for his owner, I am willing to send something towards that.

yeah thats who i ment, no ozzy not got the blaze up between his nose, diddent know how much they could change after nearly a year, we just never know, especially because he isent chipped. thanks for your time. hope he gets back with his owners. :)

Wish this boy was Ozzy but I don't think it is him. Someone somewhere must be missing this gorgeous lad. Lets hope he is reunited with his owners soon xx

Do you mean Ozzy ID 27311 ?? If so i do not think found dog has black patch on the left leg like Ozzy does. He has a blaze up between the nose- pictures we have of Ozzy do not show this.Does he have white on head from muzzle up between eyes??

Has this dog been checked with our ozzys pictures. there is a slight resemblance to him, any chance of any more pics.

Dog now been reported to dog warden and now at kennels. Re scanned - no chip.

Will be held for 7 days then passed to rehoming section.

Sorry that was an admin error.
Finder states dog is not chipped as she knew someone with scanner. Dog wardens do a full body scann 3 times to be sure on 3 diff days. This has not been done as they still have not collected the dog.

He is still waiting for these people to phone him despite calls made and messages left. They did mention dog was not getting on with their dog and would try to find a home for him.

THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW. a finder cannot just take matters into their own hands and rehome a found dog. someone will be looking for this dog- it may not even be local and they may not be checking on this site alone. this will now be X posted to springer forums to help trace owners.

Confirmation back fro maidstone dog warden that he is not aware of this dog. to be sure i have also checked tonbridge and malling and also tunbridge wells in case the finder was slightly into another council area. details have been given to dog warden to follow this up with the offer of help if unable.

FOUND DOGS MUST BE REPORTED TO COUNCIL DOG WARDEN BY LAW!!

Sadly this dog is not Sam .

We do have a photo sent on which finder has requested not to put on site but please alert us if you think this could be your dog. Area found is an area that I shall say could have dogs missing from anywhere in UK.

I am checking the dog has been reported to dog warden as conflicting reports as to whether this has been done.

I also need to find out if dog is entire or not plus if tail is docked- to help with ID.

This wouldn't be dog 34043 by any chance. The dog was stolen from Kent.
