- Just done a Google and came up with long list of rescue places in Kent
http://www.rescuedb.com/Rescues/Rescue-County.php?ct_id=20&Submit=Search
Maybe good idea to widen the area as two weeks ago a local dog ran after a seagull at St Nicholas at Wade and ended up being found in Dulwich as someone had been driving up the Thanet Way when they found him and contacted their local dog warden when they got home. Can you persuade local Kent Messenger to do a feature along with Kent on Sunday or even Meridian/BBC South East.

- stevie has been spotted a lot in the bekesbourne area and st martins area but no sightings since yesterday afternoon. one man believes he saw two dogs, one matching stevie's description being picked up by a dog warden however canterbury council have only had one black dog reported and the same dog has been taken to Lord Whiskey animal sanctuary, and Battersea havent had any dogs yesterday or today, dogs trust have had no dogs since the 8th of this month. Does anyone have any idea where else he may have been taken to if this report is true? Thank you for your help

- thank you, my husband visited lord whisky last night but he hasnt been taken there yet. we will call dog warden again today though in case he has been picked up since. thank you for your suggestion to let taxi companies know, and we r taking posters to vets in the area today too

- I have sent this to all my followers on Twitter. Might be an idea to let local taxi companies know as well. Last time I posted a link to a website doglost didn't like it and moderated my comments, so can I recommend you Google Lord Whisky in Canterbury and let them know.
If it is any consolation, I found a beagle in my garden on Monday. Took me and my daughter an hour to build up it's trust and get hold of it. Turned out it had been missing for 9 days and now reunited with owners. I am sure Stevie will be with you soon.

- still no sightings of stevie but we believe he may be in the st martins area of canterbury which includes a very busy road. if he is spotted please call one of the numbers above as approaching him may make him run off and possibly towards the road. he is visiting from scotland and will be very scared. also if any owners in the area have female dogs in season he may follow them around as he has been known to do that in the past. thanks everyone
