GReat start to the day .............. Bruno is HOME !!!! His owner opened the door this morning to find Bruno waiting there exactly a week since he went missing and at the same time in the morning that he went missing !!! What a clever boy ! He seems to be okay but has lost some weight and is very smelly and will be going to the vets to be checked. Have suggested they get him a chip too. Welcome home Bruno and please stay safe from now on xx

Thanks Alfies Mum ! Brunos owner has seen that post and there is always a possibility it could be Bruno as he could have covered a distance by now. We went over to meet Brunos owner tonight and walked in the area of Hough Lane and Winders Drive where he was last seen running off to after being hit by the car.Winders Place is quite near to his home and leads round to a park which he is walked in regularly. if he had run into the park he could have cut across the park or adjacent fields in any direction and could be much further afield by now. We put more posters up locally but his owner is aware she needs to poster any of the areas further afield he could have got to.

i dont know the area at all but some1 has posted on we are barnsleys fb page a couple of hours ago that a big brown mastiff type dog running up park road towards sheffield road. Could this be bruno?

Thanks Jill ! Brunos owner has had a call from a lady who saw he was hit by a car in Hough lane on Tuesday morning and then run off into Winders Place. We we are going over to help postering tonight but will also be helping owner search the area for him. Jill if you are able can you please keep looking out for him for him. Vets have been checked with several times. many thanks x

had a walk around the estate and not seen any thing will look today and will ask at work as i work at summer lane news and lost of people come in and out. try to get intouch with the vets some times there taken there. hope brunos home soon.

I have found that post on the WAB facebook page now and Brunos owner has also seen it. I dont think it can be Bruno as the person who saw the dead dog said it was wearing a collar and Bruno wasnt wearing one when he ran off

thanks Jayne and Jytte ! I have recieved a possible SIGHTING of Bruno yesterday morning at around 7 am which via facebook. Post as follows .........
Hi, there was a dog on Hough Lane with same description at about 7am yeterday morning. Was in the middle of the road before making its way into Wombwell centre. Was in car travelling other way so didnt see where it went from there. Hope this helps and you find safe and well.

Bruno escaped from his garden through an open gate at around 6 am this morning. His owners are trying to get a photo of him to us. Kennels and dog warden will be contacted in the morning. Hoping that Bruno is back home very soon x
