Following message posted on her Facebook group, also been alerted directly from hippy chick and another DL helper, thanks.

After the worst 2 mths of my life a whole lot of searching, phoning, posters and some amazing peoples help i can finally say...POPPY'S HOME!!!!!! lots of tears and cuddles thanks to an anonomous caller and a massive amount of luck !!!!! XXXXXXXXXXXX

The search for Poppy is still very much ongoing. There have been a couple of ads on Gumtree for similar looking dogs but they weren't Poppy. The posters are still going up and I have spoken again to the owner about trying to get Poppy into the local newspaper and she is looking into it. Hoping for some good news of Poppy soon.

Hi sorry jainwp, i had a look and no thats not my girl :( she is listed as a black and white botch where poppy is blue and that dog also has white back paw, my poppy just has 1 white toe on her back left paw :( Thank you for trying tho it means alot x

POPPY HAS BEEN MISSING/STOLEN A WEEK NOW!!
She is a BLUE 1 year old bitch with 2 white patches on her chest and one whote toe and nail on her back left paw. She has a hernia on her belly so she CANNOT BE BRED. She went from the levenshulme/reddish area on thursday the 17th and so far no one has seen her?!!! PLEASE PLEASE keep on looking for her because Jake does not understand why she isnt in her bed every morning :'(. 07949406257 if you see or hear ANYTHING !! REWARD FOR HER SAFE RETURN!!!!

Had a possible sighting of her in the m18 area last night but i couldnt get much from the lady that rang as she was aisian and her english wasnt clear. i am praying she rings back tonight a she said she would :(

recieved a txt last night saying "ino whos got ur dog hes called James from salford, heres his num......good luck" rang the number back for more info and a chav asked what dog is it ur after? and then said no sorry love u must have been pranked. What crule people.

Thanks mosspage, Poppy is definitely blue and white but will check this one out with the AW's in case the details are wrong :)

Spoke to Poppy's owner and it looks like Poppy was taken out of the garden. There was a point that the front door was open just before Poppy went missing when owner went out to their car and its not thought she escaped at this time, but not 100%.

Owner has contacted the dog warden and is visiting Manchester Dogs Home this afternoon and posters have already gone up in the area. The microchip company have also been updated.

Owner has a little child who constantly asking for Poppy and its breaking owners heart. A facebook page has been set up this moning - Missing DOG, although the name may change to include the area. This is the link http://www.facebook.com/pages/Missing-DOG/138297216277959?sk=wall&filter=1

Poppy had been registered twice, I've merged both pages and updated the details and photo/s grouping them together. A NW Co-ordinator or helper will contact family a.s.a.p. to offer advice etc. Keeping everything crossed Poppy is picked up soon.
