Sounds to me like this sweet girl was so loved and cared for that she was content and happy to go on to her special place in the sky. Knowing that she had found her happiness at last. God bless you sweet Edith and those who cared for you and loved you and always will. x

I'm in tears reading this - I fell in love with this little one and would have taken her without question if I hadn't lived so far away. This is such sad news, but at least she was warm, comfortable and loved in her last days.

Oh ..... I'm so sorry to read this but she went on her journey happily, content and with a full tummy. Thank you for taking such good care of her over her last days. She knew comfort and she was loved. RIP little girl - say hello to Mac for me will you. xxx

I'm in tears here - I have just had such a sad email from the owner of the kennels - she is distraught - Edith had been eating well and was responding to treatment for her skin but this morning she was found asleep in her basket in her kennel, at least Edith has known the best care for her last couple of weeks.
Thank you for everything you do for these babies Annabelle x

THANKS ANGUS. SOUNDS AS THOUGH SHE WILL PROBABLY HAVE A LOVELY NEW HOME NEARER TO WHERE SHE IS. I SUPPOSE IT IS DIFFICULT WHEN YOU DONT LIVE NEARER AS MY DOG PIPPA IS 15(MUCH MUCH SMALLER THAN EDITH) AND PERHAPS THEY WOULD'NT GET ON. IF THEY SHOULD FIND DIFFICULTIES REMOMING HER PERHAPS THEY WOULD LET YOU KNOW. AWFUL TO THINK SHE WAS FOUND AT A RAILWAY STATION-COULD SO EASILY HAVE BEEN KILLED. THANKS AGAIN.

Thanks dewilliams42, I don't visit this kennels but the owner emails me the strays to add to site - rest assured though that this is an excellent kennels and Edith will not be at risk - the owner works closely with oldies club and has very high standards - I will try to ensure that we get updates on her progress

Message from my kennels were that she was quite old - I guess in a terrier 12+ to have that much grey in her coat
