How did the person who had him contact the owner? was he microchipped after all? ...or did they look on doglost?

Phoned owners for an update and amazingly they have just got Pharoah back today. It seems he was taken in by someone and has been passed on to various people. He was then given away via Gumtree and the person that got him off there contacted the owner and gave him back.
