Thanks for the message Jackalee, you have done a stirling job and great to see Lady is finally HOME where she belongs. A massive thank you to frannkidee for registering her found details on DL. WOO HOO!!! Lady has been reunited. After all that the owner found the finder themselves lol. So pleased she found her way home.

Will be sending a message to the owner (via the AW's) as Lady was microchipped to Bristol, tagged to Stockport and lives in Stalybridge. If the details had been updated she would have been home this morning xx

I have spent most of the morning trying to reunite Lady with her owners - no luck so far!!

The above number is the Ashton surgery, the details of where Lady is are with the Stalybridge branch (Lady staying with finder until owner found), Stalybridge isn't open until 4.30pm.

The Animal Wardens know who Lady's owners are but can't release the details until 5pm as they are not allowed to reunite during the day as Tameside have their own Dog Warden and this is the contract Tameside have with the AW's. Due to data protection they cannot pass the details on to me. They cannot reunite over the phone either, an Animal Warden will have to collect Lady and deliver her back to the owner themselves - charging approx £60 - £70!!!

I have rang Tameside Dog Warden and although he has been made aware of the found dog at Gourleys, the owner of Lady has not reported her missing to them.

Lady is microchipped but to an address in Bristol.

Hopefully Lady will get reunited some time this century and until then at least she is being looked after and not in kennels - thank goodness for small mercies :)
