I am so very, very, sad to hear this awful news. So wish it was a better outcome. Owner, Sky made sure he got himself reunited with you and was so happy to be found! Sometimes God has to take our special babies back quicker than we would like, but it is because these babies have earnt their little wings! Sky has definitely earnt his! He will wait in heaven whilst you continue earning yours and then you will never be parted again, not ever! God bless sweet little Sky and you. xxx

So sorry to see this. My thoughts are with Sky`s owners. Sky is probably playing at Rainbow Bridge now with Angel (White GSD) in the sunshine, now back to full health. God Bless Sky and his owners. THE RAINBOW BRIDGE POEM

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

It is with the deepest regret to be moving another North West into Rainbow Bridge.

Had an email from Sky's family tonight, sadly little Sky's leg infection went to his other leg and he was not eating or drinking.

Family would like to pass on their thanks for the help they received when Sky was lost.

Devastated to get this news after all he has been through.

Thinking of Sky and his family at this very sad time. xxx

Spoken to family now. Poor Sky was involved in an RTA on Sunday not far from his home he was taken to local vet and then to Halewood RSPCA. He is now at the PDSA having an operation on his back leg. Family will update us a.s.a.p. When they collected him from the kennels they said he was pleased to see them.

Thank you to everyone who has taken care of him and wishing him lots of luck with his operation. xxx

YES is was Sky in Halewood RSPCA, he was involved in an RTA will update when get to speak to his owner. So pleased he is now back home and will get lots of TLC and wishing him a speedy recovery.

Not long got in from work and just spoken to owner for an update, they contacted Halewood RSPCA today and there is a found in there that could possibly be Sky. The dog was picked up in the Aigburth Road area but has been involved in an RTA. Family are going to the kennels tomorrow. Keeping everything crossed it is Sky and he is o.k.

I tried to ring Halewood RSPCA first thing this morning but it was engaged not had chance since to ring. I was going to try and call in before they closed tomorrow.

Advice given to family and details updated. Sky helps a young family member who is DEAF. I've given family advice on things to do and places to contact, suggested they get in touch with the Liverpool Echo and Merseymart a.s.a.p. Also alerted them to the dogs registered on the AW site. Further info/advice has been emailed to them.

Tried to speak to family but mobile signal was very bad. They have sent a photo but cannot see anything in Admin. Sky has gone missing from the house and is a Yorkshire/Patterdale Terrier cross he was wearing a collar. Family said they have tried everywhere and been out searching for him. Hope to speak to family member later on a landline phone but depends how late they get home. x
