- Great news, dogs are peculiar sometimes. My one dog would never tell me if he was in a ditch, while his sister would shout her head off for me to pick her up! You can never be too thorough!

- POPPY is home!!! Owner didn't want her name divulged at the time as she is very friendly. The owner had met a surveyor at a property with a very large over grown garden and Poppy just disappeared into thin air. Searched for ages and been back everyday since, just couldn't find her. On their way back from MDH today they went again. On hands and knees owner found a ditch with old carpets etc. piled in it, looked inside and there was Poppy. On previous visits she had not barked or whimpered even when they shouted her. She has been in there for 2 days so was little wobbly legged but otherwise fine. Have mentioned maybe a trip to the vets with her being an old lady.
Welcome Home Poppy, I am so pleased that you are back where you belong with your lovely owner. Stay safe now :) xx

KazW, have passed on your information - great suggestions :)
mosspage - I have told the owner you are local and she would love any help she can get, not really computer savvy either but I think she has a friend helping her out with emails etc. - 2011-11-26 10:54 Shelley Page - Area Co-ordinator - North West

- Just a few ideas of where to poster hope it helps easy to forget the basics when panicing but its Sat get the famous Bury market working for you get posters / leaflets to the pet stalls & the pet charity shops on the rock!! Name it is a double edged sword makes her easier to catch for everyone both the good trying to get her home & the idiots! Will keep an eye out on our walks. If you go into the library they had a leaflet with all the park wardens tel. no's on it text them all a pic & your details, worth a shot! Good luck hope when I get up she is home!
