UPDATE - it is looking like this dog was infact Cairo after all :) Cairo was reunited with his owners last night. A lady had found him on Monday, took him home and started trying to find his owners. She saw Cairo on DogLost and contacted his owner, fantastic!!

Guess where she found him - SK15 and not far from where this dog was originally sighted!!! Just a sheer coincidence that there happens to be a female malamute in the same area that is allowed to roam during the day. This is probably what kept Cairo in the area after travelling all the way from Hazel Grove - he'd found a friend :)

The other day I contacted the local dog warden to let him know the situation and that there was a dog that was allowed to roam. We are currently trying to establish exactly where the female lives as he wants to visit the owners to give them some friendly advice. Hopefully both these dogs will be safe in the future :)

The owners of this dog are irresponsible. And I think this dog should be picked up as a stray. I know they sometimes do this in some parts of the Country. Words fail me.

After further enquiries by the lady who has seen this dog it would appear it is not lost and is allowed on occasion to roam the area - hope this girl doesn't end up in the lost section :(

The lady who reported the found in SK15 and Cairo's breeder have tonight been to the area in SK15 to have a look at the exact area but no luck so far.

Thank you also to the person who sighted this gorgeous girl/boy posted the details and photo in the Extra Image box onto DogLost North West facebook group. I've cropped the photo to bring her/him closer as best I could. Hope to see her/him reunited a.s.a.p.
