Markings on the face don't match. The dog for sale doesn't have a white stripe between it's eyes.

That was me :) I saw her on Friday the 10th July, In Summer Meadow, which is part of Beckenham Place Park, at about 7.45 (I think it was this time). She was with a brown haired, brown eyed, white male, with no top teeth. We asked where he had got her from. He said he 'found her' 6 months ago and had since pupped her (a very similar story to what I have seen here too). She was definitely Bella as her eyes were the same, and the area is too coincidental. He called her 'Lucy Lou'. She did not seem entirely comfortable with the man, and bared her teeth when he was playing with her. She is a good weight and obviously exercised. I believe he lives in the Downham area of Bromley from where he generally pointed. The whole situation seemed very suspect, which made me look online just in case. I hope the owners have not given up..

Has Bella been found yet? Reading JC comments cannot the Dog Warden intervene. If it is the husky (and it sounds like it is) has the owner been to the park as she/he is the only one who would recognise Bella instantly. It would be ideal if the man could be followed to see where he lives and then the Dog Warden could be involved together with the Police. They could then take the dog to a vet who could scan it just to see if it is Bella.

P.s - meant to say - I saw the same dog walker today who originally called me on the day this female husky was found last summer - she confirmed this is the same guy who walks there with the husky who has had pups, (who had originally found her and said he wanted to keep her so did not intend to have her scanned... ) He even gave her a dodgy phone number which we called and it rang abroad!

Hi - I posted last Sept about a dog walker who had met a guy with a husky he had found close to Beckenham place park/Sydenham area. Dogwalker contacted me as I work with rescue huskies. I reported this as soon as I heard but had no response. Since then, the dog walker says this female wolf grey bi eyed husky who happens not to be good with smaller dogs, has had 8 pups. I have seen her only twice with a tall slim white guy in his 20's. She was walked on her own in Beckenham place park. This was just after she'd had pups. She looked thinner than her photo, less hair, and slightly nervous. After being recently contacted again about Bella, I would definitely say this could be the same dog. It is worrying that if she had pups she wasn't checked by a vet who should scan any new dog for a chip!! There are at least 13 or more huskies walked there on a regular basis, some wolf grey, but this girl is distinctive because of her eyes. If I were you I would hang out up there as much as possible till she shows up - last time I saw this particular husky she was on the top field by the Ravensbourne entrance. If you want to contact me please get in touch with Doglost team who have my details. Good luck!

Hi, driving along Beckenham High Street today, about 10.05am I saw a Siberian Husky being walked with a black German Shepherd type, with guy in late 20's, dark hair, quite smart - do we know of this guy. I did a U turn further up, but he must have turned off somewhere. Any comments/info would be appreciated. Heidi x

Sorry I've not been in told, no internet access since Thursday. Anyway went over on Friday and again this am (Saturday). I decided to go without the staffie in case this is being read by the wrong person. However, no Bella, did speak to 2 Jack Russells, a staffie cross and a hoodie who offered me some "puff". I gave him a leaflet, he apparently tours the area "all the time" lol. As soon as I have anything to report, I'll let you know. BFN Heidi x

I am not going to share this on fb at this time, just in case someone sees it and alerts them, but good luck!!
I was in Beckenham Place Park yesterday looking for Ace and Mac and spoke to a few dog walkers, they were all very helpful so I know the will help as much as they can.
Maybe you could get some leaflets printed to give to the other dog walkers so they have your contact details
heidi
OK I shall borrow my neighbour's staff then. Will start Friday am x

Please see my post from back in September on Dog Lost Facebook and Dog Found on this site. There was a report of a found female husky in Beckenham Place Park in Beckenham. She was found by people who wanted to keep her so were not planning on taking her to scan her for a chip! I was called by dog walkers who had spoken to the people who had found her. Could this be your dog??? Please email me if you need to. I have very little information other than what I was told and I kept a look out for the dog to urge the people who had her to take her to be scanned, but she has not been seen again in that park since.
