Owner just emailed me, he didn't turn up at the door, he was at the side of the road near Tilbrook - he was enticed with chicken and the owner managed to get hold of his collar. Ben is off for a vet check this afternoon, he has an upset tummy :( So pleased he is home YAY!!!

Ben has been on the move since Friday, there was a shoot at the farm so this may have scared him off :( He had moved on to Covington but the last sighting today was between Tilbrook and Catworth. Owner is out postering, so we just have to wait for more sightings, i hope he returns to the farm where the trap is - he was becoming more comfortable with the farmers there.

I have been speaking with Ben's owner who is very experienced with the breed. Ben is a recent Hungarian import, aged 15 months, who was spooked by something, no one knows what, and escaped. He was seen again today but is away as soon as he sees a person or a dog. He is running loose on a large farm estate. A trap has been set up and baited with nice smelly food.

Does the owner know anyone else with a puli as he might be more inclined to come to one of his own kind? Mine is very old and doesn't walk far and I'm rather too far away.
The girls!
Not sure if Ben has been caught yet so have shared on FB with a couple of 'horsey' groups that may have people out and about in the area.

Fingers crossed he gives up soon
