Hi Majorjet. Than for the info: Now I know I think they are attractive looking dogs too.

LOL janiejewel1649, yes as a BC owner myself I know exactly what they are like with their herding instincts, they are born to work. Tillie my current BC is very much ball/toy obsessed and would do anything to play retrieve with a ball or toy, show her food or a ball/toy (especially a squeaky one) and the ball/toy wins hands down.

Inga was so lucky especially as not all farmers are as helpful. x

Great news. A BIG THANK YOU to the farmer I think. A friend of mine once owned a Border colie who went missing one day, only to be found rounding up a local farm er`s COWS. Fortunately he saw the funny side and the coillie did not harm the cows. Must be instinct in them, sure collie owners will know. Stay safe now Inga. And no more rounding up sheep:-)xxx
zen
great news, perhaps the farmer needs to be given a bottle of wine, to say thankyou.... welcome home lovely girl

Inga has been found..Woohoo :)
Found by a farmer who was not a happy chappy after her rounding up his sheep. He managed to get hold of her and put her in his barn. One very lucky dog as the farmers in the area are known to shoot dogs. She must of stayed in the area where she originally went missing as the owners got a call to say a quarry worker thought he had seen her aswell yesterday. There was another Border Collie missing at the time, so maybe the sightings were the other dog.
I was going to search that area tomorrow, but i can have a lie in now instead!!! :) So happy for the family..Another one home for Christmas :)xxxLast edited: 2011-12-02 17:32:09

Unknown
Can you get me the number of the quarry or any other details and i will phone them to try and get more info :)x

Thanks Charlie :) I just dont want to waste crutial time for Inga if the dog that keeps getting spotted could of been the dog found tonight. The one found earlier today was only missing for 10 minutes so it wasnt that dog thats been sighted. When was the call from the Quarry area? This definately needs checking again. I dont mind doing a search there at the weekend if someone shows me the area :)x
charliecookie
ill get old of mum first thing, i dont know full details just that was found and taken home tonight, we did get a call from someone who works at the quarry saying he had seen what he believed to be her on a park right near quarry mum went up there and no sign :( recieved the call about the one that turned out to be male after that and this was seen in hayfield x
Unknown
Can you do me a favour and find out how long the one found tonight had been missing for. If this has been the one thats been sighted over the last few days and not Inga it worries me that she could be still up in the area of the quarry etc. I really hope this isnt the case and it is Inga thats been sighted :)x
charliecookie
I believe it was another one :( only found this evening x
Unknown
