- This is very sad. What a courageous little girl. You did it Meg! I am sure she was so happy to have been reunited with her owner that she knew she could go to heaven peacefully, surrounded by love. This baby really earnt her wings. Safe in God's arms till they are reunited again - this time, never to part. God bless you Meg and your dear owner, forever.x Last edited: 2011-12-06 20:01:30 by Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders

- I've cried buckets for you and your family Meg. You knew they'd find you eventually and you hung on to let them know you loved them to the very end. I hope you had a safe and peaceful journey to the Bridge - I'm sure you're watching now. Have fun, snooze in the sunshine and have sweet dreams when you sleep. x

- So very very sorry for your loss. She is at peace and you will meet again. My Lab, who I lost last year, is with her and is showing the ever full food bowl, the best spots to sleep in and the clean river to swim in.

- So sorry for your loss of Meg, but at least you was by her side when she passed. Should be some comfort that she had a good life with you and that one day you will be reunited. She is now at the bridge at play like a young puppy. She will never leave you because you loved her and love given freely never dies. She is only sleeping. Night, night, sleep tight Meg and look down on your owners as they need your strength at this time. God Bless Meg and her family. Sending Meg`s family lots of hugs.xxxx Will pray for them and you Meg.

- Meg was found yesterday in a bog...after 3 days of very cold weather...very close to home...owners grandchildren....went to leap on ..on what they thought to them was a hill...and discovered underneath the leaves it was Meg....son put Meg into a wheelbarrow and took her to the vets....they could not get a drip into her as so cold....warm blankets...hair driers...heart massage...Faithful Meg stayed alive till her 74 year old owner could be with her...then had a heart attack....run free over rainbow bridge Meg....you loyal dog that just wanted to last long enough to give a final lick to your loving mistress.

- Chartridge Lane is a very long road so it would be helpful if we knew whether it was the Chesham end, The Lee end or in the middle near the pub. I checked and she is registered as missing at the Wheelhouse Vet in Chesham.

- Although I'm fairly sure this is South Bucks DC territory, I'd suggest contacting the DW at Aylesbury Vale. Wouldn't be a bad idea to contact Debbie Sandling at Three Rivers, too. 01923 776611.

- I've emailed my friends that live on Chartridge Lane and a friend who has a horse stabled up there with a link to the dog lost poster. Come home soon!

- info from owner - lost from home property
Chartridge lane, chartridge. Labrador missing from garden within 15

Searched fields, no joy so far.
Thank you for your help. - 2011-12-02 16:08 Mel
- Walked around Cowcroft Woods, the field known locally as the Prairie and the Sheep field this afternoon with no sighting.
- 2011-12-02 15:45 Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
- Have owners checked with Chiltern Dog Rescue, also Green Meadows kennels in the Chalfonts? (was told once that Police take strays to the latter). Would also suggest handing out posters at Bovingdon market on Saturday morning, but hopefully she'll be back before then xx
- 2011-12-02 15:39 Unknown
- Exact details would be good, then I can pass to contacts in Chesham.
- 2011-12-02 12:51 Angus

- I'm near Chesham and have passed this onto my dogwalking friends. I'm out later for a walk around the Cowcroft Woods/Botley/Ley Hill area so will keep an eye out for her but in the meantime is there a more specific area that she went missing from?
