- Will owner see this it's been over 5 yrs. Could someone ring them just in case it's him?
- 2017-08-17 21:01 Mary
- The Found dog certainly looks similar and if the name was taken from the microchip it could be this Reggie. It is not this owner that is accused of ill treating the Found Reggie, so they should contact Lincolnshire Police to see if it is their Reggie or speak to CJ.

- rosemary - if you read the article that you posted below, it is from the Lincs Police who are trying to find the owner of the dog. It is by no means certain that it is this Reggie but I posted to this page to alert the owner of the possibility.

- I think I saw him this evening but was driving and couldn't stop. A red staffy crossed over Kingsway M19. I saw the dog cross at the lights but he wasn't with anyone. Then he was in front of Aldi in Burnage-sniffing the grass and being friendly.I drove back round but couldn't see him then. I hope he stays safe and gets home very soon.

- Maggie, have spoke to Reggie's owners for you. They have been to Petmedics and it wasn't Reggie, have also visited MDH and no luck so far. They are in contact with the warden a few times a day and are getting posters ready for going up. Have recommended the Manchester Evening News as they don't have a free local paper. Like you said, told them to poster everywhere they can, pubs, schools, shops etc. Have not sent advice email as I wasn't sure if you had already sent it. It wasn't his garden he got out of, he was with owners brother at a different house and someone left the gate open. Reggie may still be hiding in the area if unfamiliar and to search after dark, early morning if poss and plenty of posters in the immediate area.
They are doing a great job so far and hoping Reggie is home soon :) - 2011-12-04 17:03 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
- Message left for owner earlier for an update and landline if possible to ring them up. Photo also cropped to bring him closer. x

I've sent Reggie's photo to AW's so they can add to his lost details - 2011-12-04 10:36 Maggie
- I have rang AW and the dog which was found in Oldham was taken to petmedics due to having injury to back legs - AW told me that Reggies owner hadn't asked about that one when she rang. I have made a quick call to her and give her the number for petmedics to check to see if its Reggie, also advised to POSTER EVERYWHERE, ask neighbours - Can someone please give the owner a call, shes never lost a dog before and needs all the help and advice she can get, i said that someone else that deals with NW will give her a call. I have work but if he is found can you please let me know - Come on Reggie its home time xx
She is also going to Reg with doglost, shes having to use her phone due to her PC not working so shes got limited access to the internet - 2011-12-04 10:10 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- The 2 below ...owner has rung and they are white dogs with brown markings...now we have photo Reggie is mostly brown. Poster emailed to helpers in M12,14,18,19,20. SK4,5.

- Sorry to see that REGGIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (34992)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
