- So pleased Enya has been found.
BonBon, yes, the paler ones can be mistaken for a Goldie or Goldie cross. My one is very red so is often taken for a Rough Collie/Border Collie mix. He was sold to me by a shelter as a crossbreed (having been found as a stray) and it was only when I got him home and a neighbour mentioned to me that he looked like "the retrievers used for hunting ducks" that I looked into it and when I took him for his first check-up, my vet confirmed it. I didn't know that his father breeds them and he owns some himself. - 2011-12-05 17:19 BonBon
- FrankieB - I know what you mean. Even the RSPCA recently referred to a Toller as a golden retriever! So pleased this lovely girl has been found safe and well. Stay safe from now on.

- What a beautiful girl. I hope she's found soon. Can I just suggest that if shelters have been notified, please mention that she could be mistaken for a Collie cross or a Spaniel cross and, of course, give them a photo. I own a Tolly and as it's not a commonly seen breed in this country, people always think he's some sort of Collie or Spaniel mix. Good luck.
