...oh and a big thank you to the girl who made the call at Macdonalds, and to Birch Hill dog rescue.
Neighbark
Yes, Jayne's said it all, - Bailey's back home with his delighted owners. They've now put a security door chain to stop this little escape-artist opening the door and getting thru' ! I'm going to meet him in a few days-can't wait. :-)

Has the dog been taken home yet?Maybe he was from the rescue originally?

Why are the rescue doing a 'home visit' on a dog who belongs to someone? He can't be up for adoption because they haven't had him long enough to rehome if he was only lost on 3 december??
Neighbark
But yes, great result albeit still 'pending'. I met Bailey's lovely mum and dad, at 1pm today, we made a plan of who goes where, and postered postered postered! The lucky break was a girl in Macdonalds who saw me take a poster in and chat about him. She rang Kirsty, then vets, then a rescue, then potential problem, then wonderful Jayne worked her magic, now waiting for the equally wonderful & caring rescue to do a home visit on Bailey's mum & Dad. They are SO excited, so relieved that he's safe, and that they should be having him back. They rushed straight out to the local pet shop and bought him loads more food and treats! AND would like to help others who find themselves in the same situation! Over to blue once the boy's home...watch this space.

Hey Jayne - taking my glory by calling me Heghbark! :-) ...but I'm on such a high with todays success, that 'I really don't give a damn' !!

Heghbarks posters worked...owner had a call to say her dog has been found....not yet reunited as it appears the dog was chipped to a rescue...so we are looking into it.
Neighbark
I'll be over tomorrow Kirsty as promised to help poster. We've got to get this little man's poster plastered all over the area! Keep your pecker up! N.Last edited: 2011-12-04 21:56:35 by Neighbark

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone for all their help in trying to find Bailey we really appreciate it. We currently can't get posters out as we do not have a printer or computer as we have just moved into our first home so people offering to put posters up is really helpful. xx
Neighbark
I'll go out and poster tomorrow.
