can we be told the circumstances? How stressed and confused the puppy must feel. How can anyone have any respect for travellers after this vicious attack and theft. Like the Tibetan Spaniels stolen in Oxfordshire last week - found tied up to travellers caravan same day, also another tied up outside their camp. Cruel thieves will go to hell, they will get their just rewards - sooner the better!Last edited: 2012-01-05 00:14:10 by Neighbark

It's wonderful to see the last puppy from the litter finally make it back home XX
Ellie
Pleased to report that this puppy was returned to owner late last night, very thin but otherwise ok.
Snoopy
When I click face book post on the poster the pic of all the pups comes up not the one pup on the poster.
B30
Snoopy the poster is just the puppy that is still missing, the second image on here does not show on the poster
Snoopy
Looks like they have struck again this time in Derbyshire. Notice on epupz updating ad for pupz as now stolen. http://epupz.co.uk/clas/viewdetails.asp?view=456905
Snoopy
Could the pic on the poster be changed to just the pup that is still missing please?

I am reliably informed that travellers are often at the Farmers Market at Melton on Tuesdays offering dogs for sale, if anyone is in that area it might be worth keeping a look out.
Ellie
Police traced the van to a travellers site in Coalville and seized 4 of the pups. They were all dirty, hungry and traumatised, the tri coloured one seemed very ill but is picking up this morning. Police are going back to search for the remaining chocolate coloured pup. Have advised owner to speak to Travellers Liason officer also.

I had a puppy enquiry last week, from a soft spoken irish man, who even when i told him i have no pups available he still kept trying to come to see my pups, asking where i live. he said he was coming over from Ireland and wanted to see pups, it might be nothing.
hello janey
so they will just get away with it then as usual!!

Just remembered! It was in Kent.

Could these be the same people that stole the 2 very young spaniel puppies? The method of theft (snatched pups when pretending to buy them) sounds very similiar and one of the phone calls to the owner was an Irishman. They were reunited 'cos DogLost & the press/tv did such a great job making them too hot to handle. Pretty certain it was Southeast region. Spoken to owners. There are 5 stolen puppies (from 2 separate litters) short coat chis, 1 white, 1 chocolate, 1 black tri, 1 tan and white and one tan. All females. They were stolen by 2 Irish males this afternoon after coming with their wives to see the puppies earlier, saying they needed to get the money and came back again, attacked the owners and took the pups. They had been advertised on preloved vets@home. Police issued CRN and finger printed property. Advised to make them too hot to handle and sending advise, contacts etc.
Can alerts go out as soon as possible pleaseLast edited: 2011-12-06 21:01:46 by Ellie
