- Fantastic news - GLEN IS HOME!!!! Woo hoo :)
Had a call from Glen's owner to say that he was found by a nice lady about 3 miles from home on 8th Dec. Unfortunately the finder didn't know to ring the local dog warden (who was very much aware of Glen) and was given very bad advice. It has taken a further 5 days, lots of phonecalls and friends of friends to get Glen home - and he is microchipped!!
Thank you to the finder who did a fantastic job in looking after Glen, in fact he was quite spoilt by the sounds of it lol I just wish better advice had been given on the day he was found.
Welcome Home Glen - have great pleasure of sending you into the blue :))) x

- Just seen this on AW site and asked them to confirm its definitely a female. OL10 is only about 4 mile away, directly over the moors from where Glen was lost.

- Glen went missing from his yard, was coming in from a walk and just turned around and ran. He is not used to roads with being a farm dog and it is a vast area he has gone missing from. There was a sighting the next day in the village but nothing since. His owner is doing a fantastic job. Posters are up in the area, dog warden and chip company notified, local vets etc. The Rochdale Dog warden has been very helpful and is looking out for him. I have recommended that other council areas, rescues, vets etc be contacted just in case his chip is missed. Also the owner has already contacted the Manchester Evening News and will hopefully be putting an ad in the lost/found section. Lots of friends and local people are looking out for Glen. The photo on the poster is of Glen's Dad, very similar in looks. Hoping for some good news soon :)
