Poor boy. There is quite a few lost males on here so do they get alerted I wonder or is it worth sending them a link to this page. Don't mind doing it if needed :)

Has this little chap got a new home?
DogLostAngus
no problem - Middlesborough dog warden services seem really well organised - you can follow his story in more detail on their facebook page http://www.facebook.com/facebarkmiddlesbrough
Angel
Got it! Thanks for explaining Angus.
DogLostAngus
When an authorized body calls the chip number in the details are passed to the authorized person and they make contact with the owner if the details are up to date, in this case bordering authorities working together to try to find owners & also listing with us helps the council get more exposure, if a member of the public finds a dog and can get it scanned the details of the finder are passed by the chip company to the owners (this is due to the data protection act)
Angel
Thanks for explaining Angus. May be a silly question but doesn't the chip company contact the person whose details they hold or do they both do it? I’m new to this detective work and not sure how it all works.
DogLostAngus
thanks Angelmort - he has been listed by the DW services - chipped to an area outside their remit but another DW service will be carding the address Last edited: 2011-12-08 14:08:18 by Angus

The listing says he's chipped. I assume that gets checked automatically?

Lets hope that he's been lost rather than neglected. Poor soul, but i'm relieved that whatever his circumstances he's now being cared for. Hopefully someone is missing him .
jools32

Words fail me,looking at the photo of this poor, poor dog. What sort of world is it becoming where people just don't care anymore to do this to a dog-mans best friend?
