Have put a request on the above pages asking members to join DogLost to help spread the word, they are in the Isle of Man. These are two groups set up for Husky Harley who sadly went to Rainbow Bridge. Members of the group are doing a great job and want to carry on helping others. x - 2011-12-31 20:29 Jack Russell 4

- How tragic. Sorry to see this about Harley but at least you can lay him to rest. The body is only an overcoat, its the spirit that is important. When a person or animal dies in a tragic way sometimes they will often leave a sign to the family who loved them to ease the owners grief a little. I hope you get or have had one from Harley. Remember Harley is only a whisper away, and one day you will be reunited with him. He is now playing at the bridge with his pals, safe in God`s care. Please Harley look down on your family who really need your strength at this sad time. Sending hugs to Harley and his family. GOD BLESS xxxx

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE POEM
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

- UPDATE POSTED BY HIS OWNER such a sad ending:
http://www.facebook.com/groups/160666997374590/
Marco Leonetti
On xmas eve we recieved a call from a local farmer to say that he had located Harleys body which was caught in a thicket/ tree .. he offered to let us see his position which Colette declined, he procedeed to cut Harley out of the bush .. we collected Harleys body which we transfered to Arg Beign vets who did a post mortem xrays etc ... the Police were informed and the process of investigation of foul play was put in motion .. Detectives have been to the scene and the results show that Harley had jumped into a thicket/tree and had lodged his hined leg in between branches and broke it and been unable to free himself. This was just a tragic accident and no one is to blame..... Harley's free spirit had cost him his life !!!
We are comfortable with the outcome and would like to thank the police for their time spent investigating what has become a community focus point ..To this end we would like to thank all the wonderfull people that have been involved trying to bring our boy home , we will have a bench to commemorate not just Harley but the community spirit that Harley's demise brought together which will be on his favourite walk "Ennamona" ... also we as a family will make a donation on behalf of all the people that gave up their time to search for him to the MSPCA.... and finally we have set up a facebook page in Harley's memory dedicated to search and help lost or abused pets on the Island
