Baz is home!! Found by someone at a petrol station about 5.45pm today. He has a few cuts but seems to be ok. The owner is taking him to the vets.
This is brilliant news as i have been worried about this boy. The owners are over the moon. A big welcome home to Baz, back for Christmas' Lovely :)x

The owner has visited Field Farm Kennels and City Dogs Home today and Baz is not there. There has been a possible sighting along the canal, so owner will be going back to that area.
Baz was staying with a relative the night he went missing, which is about 2 miles away from the owners house but would include the canal if he was trying to make his way back home. Will offer further advice...

Spoken to owners of Baz and they have contacted all the right people and lots of posters have been put up. Normally dogs picked up by the Dog Warden would go to Field Farm Kennels and stay for a few days before going to City Dogs Home. I have advised to go to City Dogs anyway, just incase, as it has been 6 days from when he went missing. I have mentioned the local papers and to try and get Baz in asap with it being Christmas. They have had a few problems with the local Dog Warden ie registering his details, so i will try and sort this.

The owner posted this to Manchester Dogs Home FB page....Has a bit more information..

We have lost our black and white Border collie cross male dog name of Bazil on Friday 9th December. He went missing from Kirkstone Court, Congleton CW12 4JW around 10pm. He has been castrated. He is approximately 10 ½ yrs old, but is very lively and active. He is predominantly black, but has a white band around his neck, a white bib(chest) and lower legs(socks). He is short haired, but has wirey hair on his face, muzzle and upper back. He had a red collar with a blue name tag on at the time he went missing. He is microchipped(Pet log ID) as well.

would you like me to help you with anything to help find Baz, my dogs vision isn't too good as well. Where did he go missing from, I am still putting posters up for Sam and advertising in the Chronicle. My daughter in law is going to Manchester Dogs Home this week with some tins so I have asked her to look for me, I will ask her to look for you as well.
