My heart goes out to you. I can't believe another railway victim. Owners, please know that Axel would not have suffered. I lost my dog in the same way and I know the pain. You have to trust there was a reason, even if we don't know what it was here on earth. Sometimes God takes our babies far too soon for us, but please remember that Axel is safe now and had oviously earnt his wings. He will now wait in heaven whilst you continue to earn yours. You will then be reunited once again - this time you will never part ever again. God bless you and sweet Axel. x

I am so sorry Shelley, I know your mom loved him to bits. I don't know why he ran off and this is not the outcome I was hoping for. RIP Axel playing at the bridge with all your friends. So sorry Sheila xx

Hi, Thank you all so much for your help, but Mum has had bad news, Axel has been found but has been hit by a train, she is devastated - i just wanted to let you know as i don't know how to remove the lost link. thank you once again.

Spoke to owner today, she is really upset about Axel but as I explained we really need to get sightings of him. She is doing a fantastic job with papers and postering and contacting as many sources as possible. liz xx

Phoned owner tonight and discussed scenting. Will email over some more detailed advice on this as Axel appears to be moving in his triangle.

Around 1 1/2 miles away by cycle track.
We have been out looking in that area but come home with no sighting.

Hi has the owner also checked with the north Kesteven or Hykeham dog warden, if not then its would be worthwhile doing so. When my dog went missing in February he was picked up by Lincolnshire dog warden and taken to kennels over in Sleaford. We are very close to the border here.

Spoke to owner, Axel was spooked by something and ran off, this is close to the railway line and also fields. Owner has phoned DW and railtrack (who have been very helpful) Axel has been spotted but is running away, owners daughter is going tomorrow with her dog to see if he will approach her. He was in the paper tonight. Liz xx

Have put Axel on my facebook, I live in Coddington and have been asking all my dog walking friends. I know some ladies who have horses down clay lane and are there every day, I ve asked them to keep an eye open.
