Veronica and I would like to express our thanks to all who helped in searching for Poppy. She is now safely at home with nothing more than a smaal cut on one of her legs and a few bruises.I think she will be back to walking in Victora park for a while

A friend of mine was riding in Upshire when she saw a small bundle huddled against a log she dismounted wrapped Poppy up in her coat and carried her all the way back to her stable yard Thank Goodness for people like Lucy Vet said she probably would not have survived another night out Fantastic service this site provides too xxxxx

It seems that some posts have disappeared from here. I posted to say that Poppy had been found and there were a few posts from people say "glad she was safe and had been found", not sure what has happened here!

Have just had a phone call to say someone may of spotted her yesterday morning around 10 am, going across Epping New Road and into the nursery, opposite the pub and garage. This info was a bit sketchy, and they cant confirm it was definately Poppy.

I searched the Chingford planes area at 5.30 again. Nothing. I will be down at intervals tomorrow hope she is found soon though. I'll try to get there around 4.30 as she may have found a sheltered area to rest. I put posters up at pubs, private stables, biker cafe, Chingford pets at home and a few car parks in the forest. It's just a matter of time now. Good luck all!

i'm a regular dog walker in chingford and will look out for Poppy. I have made some copies of the poster, do hope she is found soon x

I have contacted my cousin who reguarly walks her dogs in the area. Hope Poppy is home soon.

Hi I have horses up at queen elizabeth riding school we have been informed about poppy an have informed all oir riders as they go out I'm riding my horse out tomorrow so will keep an eye out for her but fingers crossed she be home by then we also rang forest rangers an chingford kennels about her x

Thank you to all the dog walkers,cyclists and walkers who have been out in the forest today keeping an eye out for Poppy.We had a possible sighting at about 16.30 between the model aircaft area and Conault water. this was almost 24hrs after she went missing. we have notified everybody we can think of. Vets, dog kennels, Pounds, stables, pet shops and as many proffesional dog walkers as we know. Thanks to all on Dog Lost for their support

Very large parklands that way connecting to Epping Forest. We need helpers out in force on this one. Owners, remember to check with all the road people i.e. council and Highways and tell the Rangers. The pubs need posters; churches, shops and watch for the travelling fair and travellers. Have put on my FB and those who I know live in area. Let's this baby home. x

Thankyou to all who have volunteered to help find Poppy. Just to clarify delails Poppy is a light grey brindle. she has got a clollar and tag on. she is timid but very friendy and will aproach other dogs and people but can be difficult to get a lead on. my phone is the one on the poster. I will be up at chingford at 6am tomorrow.

Back now, no sightings of her yet. Have put posters up around car park entrance and by the model aircraft site. She bolted by the water tough junction. Local vets, Chingford police, Battersea, Petlog all informed.We are meeting again there at 6 am. Lets hope she is home tomorrow morning.
