Fantastic news, so pleased that Monty made it home to his family :) Thank you to the finder who did a stirling job for Monty, above and beyond what most people would do.

No more wandering off Monty and stay safe boy :)

I have just received conformation from the finder that Monty's owners have been found. As Jayne says he is 15 years old and has a few health issues hence the fact that he is so thin. Welcome home old fella.

It was thought at first that this boy had been neutered but after further examination he is intact. He has been scanned and no microchip has been found but he is going to the vet tomorrow and will be scanned again.

It is not thought he is Digsby 34661 but we are also looking at Max ID 26585. will update when I know more from the vets tomorrow.

I have had more details on the found dog and will update in a bit, when I get chance :)

There seems to be a problem on site, as all mine and Ashmarks comments have disappeared.

Have had contact today with Digsby's owner and it is not thought it is him, for one Digsby has not been neutered.

The found dog is still with the finder, he is eating little bits and drinking. He is a bit wobbly on his back legs but this could be due to his lack of weight. A friend of the finder is going tonight to scan him for a microchip and he is being taken to the vets tomorrow. Wirral Dog Warden does not have a service at the weekends so I have given the number for the owner to contact them tomorrow. They are going to get back to me if they find a microchip.

Thanks Lizzy :) Too late to contact now but will contact Digsby owners tomorrow and find out if he was neutered and alert them to this dog.

Digsby is microchipped but it doesn't look like this boy has been scanned yet. Will see what I can find out and check if Ashmark has heard anything back yet.

Is this Digsby missing from CH1.

Where is this dog now? Is there someone to look after him to see if he is reclaimed and then if not can he go into rescue? What happens in this situation, I would hate him to go into tan already bursting local pound?
