I dont need thanking, its what I do. Suzy is number 14 this year!! - 12 are in their forever homes and suzy and another boy, dexter are spending christmas here with me and my 3 hounds, oh and the 5 cats and the toddler lol

no there is no chance of her being pts! im actually a fosterer for Lincoln greyhound rescue (and I have her here!!). We were already in contact with the GRB and they were trying to find a previous owner, which they have done. Unfortunately he sold her on about 3 weeks ago to someone in doncaster (sth yorks- about 30 miles away from where she was found). previous owner is going out to their address tomorrow to try and find out what has happened, if they have just dumped her or what. Im reluctant to let her go back as they have not contacted anyone to say she is missing. meanwhile previous owner i think is happy to sign her over to us so that we can find her a new home.

I worked with greyhounds for years the greyhound board will have the last registered owner an trainer you could try the trainer to see who the dog was passed on to as ownership is not always changed once they retire otherwise you could try the retired greyhound trust if she has gone through them they will have an owners name is she safe in foster there's no chance of pts is there

She last ran at Pontefract Dec 07 before that at Nottingham. Had 9 pups in Aug 08. One pup ran last night at Sheffield. It must be possible to trace the owner. Really pleased she has a foster home.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
