Wonderful news. Sam has been found and is home. DW picked him up in Tamfourhill and the kennel staff at Bandeath recognised him as being Sam.

Just seen an add on gumtree, black and white collie found in Glasgow. Worth checking out.

Thanks Argyll. Sam's owner has checked this out and it is not Sam unfortunately.

One of the girls in our work canteen saw a dog similar to yours in Glasgow Road Stirling near the 1314 pub. I know it's about ten miles away but you never know.

I have only just seen this missing dog and wonder if I may have spotted it at Beecraigs 27th December, walking early towards Guthries path and seen a dog who would be about the same shape and size, unfortunately it was 8am and still quite dark so didn't get a good look, could be worth putting posters up there, although unlikely to still be in the area.
Wonder if it might be worthwhile putting posters up at Central Saddlery which is quite close to bowhouse roundabout, people out on horses may have a better chance of sighting him, there are also a few livery yards round that area (Coxydene at Candie, muiravonside etc), may be worth postering them, I'm unlikely to be in the area for a week or so.

I've just seen this on gumtree, Glasgow is 20 miles away and this dog is 8 to 10 months but I do think it's worth checking just to make sure.

Also just seen this posted on Gumtree yesterday, which I imagine was the possible sighting:

Have seen on gumtree that there was a possible sighting of Sam two days ago at Bowhouse Roundabout, possibly heading towards Caldercruix. Owners went there but had no luck.

High possibility that Sam has been stolen. Reports of him being bundled into a van.

So sorry to read Sam is missing. I have you tried Bantaskin Estate off Lochgreen Road? I very often take my dogs up there and I was last there on Tuesday and may have seen a collie can't be sure if he/she was with anyone but worth checking out the area. I will keep my eyes open.

I'll keeo a look out for him in around Falkirk and Bonnybridge as I do a fair bit of driving around the area. I'll also put posters up at my work. Have you tried Bandeath Kennells in Throsk yet.
