whooo! Tyson is finaly completely better today now I have to just fatten him up And hes got the energy to go on walks again and run round the field with other dogs.xxxx
leanne
Tyson hasnt been sick today and he only has a little bit of the diarrhea so hes still on his boild food but were gonna start feeding him his normal dog food a little bit at a time while keeping him on the boild stuff, he really loves the fish tho! So finaly tyson is abit bit more like are old tyson running round teasing next doors dog and chasing the black cat who always wants to come in the house, he doesnt hurt tho if it doesnt run he just ignores him haha.
Thanks for everything again and for the healing thoughts xxxxx

Thanks for the update Leanne. Poor boy sending him lots of healing thoughts. You are doing well with what you are feeding him, it is very common for reunited dogs to want to sleep a lot. Many years ago I lost my Golden Retriever, he was missing for four days and had been clipped by a car or large vehicle (he was very nervous of large vehicles after getting him back). Max was exactly the same very tired but was fighting his sleep as if he was frightened to go to sleep, he was also very very clingy. It took him a while for him to settle down but he did eventually. With the lots of TLC you are giving Tyson he will get there, but maybe worth you getting him checked over by the vet when they are back after the holiday period. x
leanne
Tyson has been ill since we got him back from leighs dogs and cats home. He seem skinnyer than usual when we picked him up, but they said that a vet had checked him over and he was fine. As soon as we got home he was vomited and since then hes bin really ill, all he has been doing is sleep. So right now hes on a speical diet of rice, fish and chicken for a week. He seems alittle more active today but hes still really skinny =( so poor Tyson had a bad week after what seem a very fun day running around the farmers field in haydock! xx

Thanks for the phone call hippy chick and nice to catch up with things. Nail biting time for owners waiting for the kennels to open. I've also sent a message to the Salford DW to see if they know when the kennels are open. x

I have spoken to the finder earlier and thanked him for posting Tyson on here. The reason he knew the dogs name was that his father in law recognised him. I think we all see dogs on walks, always know the dogs name rather than the owners. The owners will be going to Leigh Cats and Dogs tomorrow, hopefully they will be open :)

Thanks Jan and Maggie and thanks Leanne for posting on here. Will catch up tomorrow...Vicky :)x

Whilst on the train yesterday afternoon almost back at Earlestown coming from Chester direction we saw a black dog in a farmers field. Not much use but you never know. It was quite away from the railway line.

Is Tyson lab cross staffie? If so, it may be an idea to mention this when ringing dog wardens/rescues as to me he looks more staffie than labrador.
