"This years Ebenezer Scrooge award goes to Croft kennels..."

Doesn't it just! And I take so many poundies from them and find them homes or rescue places. I have 4 of their dogs living here as loved family. It saddens me that folk can be so callous. Well he gets another night's kenneling fees from the owners. Good old Christmas spirit, eh?

Yay! Had a very nice text from Rosie's owners - you are so welcome - I'm so glad she's safe and will be home with you tomorrow! (if not today!!) Merry Christmas! xx
WendyJ
Just spoke to the pound owner - can't possibly release a dog on Christmas Day because they are closed! Staff are there tnough. It is unbelievable. I told him I would be murderous if he refused to give me my dog back.

Great we were able to help on Christmas day...at least you can now enjoy the day instead of worrying what has happened to Rosie...Thanks helper WendyJ...local knowledge essential when owners not from the area.

Thank you all for your help and comments. Didn't know this site existed until this morning. Will ensure we become regular 'watchers' now, down where we live in Dorset.
WendyJ
Rosie is safe in the pound - picked up last night. Bureaucracy however prevents Rosie coming home today! She should be out tomorrow - though I'm going to ring the pound to see if that can be sorted today
WendyJ
The Dog Pound for that area is Croft Rescue Kennels

I doubt if the Dog Wardens are working today though. But the pound will pick up any dogs reported.
Auntie Katie
Have sent a text requesting a photograph of Rosie to be sent. I hope she is home soon! xx
