Just spoken to Judy, Helens sister who thanks DogLost for their support. Helens husband should be almost back home to Wales now with Stella and I should imagine an emotional welcome will be waiting! Helen wishes to stay on as a DogLost volunteer in her area.
Snowdrop has been out and removed her posters.
Goldenfrodo
Fantastic news. I'm so relieved Stella is safely back with her family. xx
Ellie
OMG!!!! Yay! Am in tears! Just got back from an evening out with my husband, Snowdrop had left me a message on my phone. I am so pleased for you all. Posters and publicity can make all the difference, well done! Welcome home Stella and stay safe forever more now.
stellasmum
Yes I have done that earlier with a message and will ring first thing again to make sure.
labradorloopy

stellasmum
The dog was actually spotted on watergate lane at around 2pm, under the bridge heading towards bridle lane . . . please get in touch if anyone sees it, we have people looking right now . . .

There has just been a possible sighting of a dog answering Stellas description cowering under bushes on Braunstone Park, is anyone in the area able to drop everything and search please. Reinformed Watergate Lane, near Braunstone not an area I know very well. Gave advice on how to approach her if seen as she will be very scared and may not recognize her own family.Last edited: 2011-12-30 16:13:22 by Ellie

Thanks snowdrop, we have put posters up in beaumontleys shopping center ( pub, chippy, tescos and petshop), also chippy on anstey lane. We found that in the old marconi estate all the posters put up yesterday have been removed? we will reposter tommorrow. I tried putting stellas chip number into the databases she comes up in many places all as missing so it does work. cheers helen
Snowdrop
Have postered quite heavily around Blackbird road area and Abbey park area, B and Q and Victoria Park. Spoke to many dog walkers who will look out for Stella xxx
Ellie
Well done on all you have managed to achieve Helen, lets hope all your hard work brings some good news soon. Thank you for mentioning DogLost in your newspaper article. Good news about the Highways, shame the dog you looked at yesterday at Animal Aid wasnt her, its horrible to have your hopes dashed. Stay safe Stella until we find you.
stellasmum
Just got message back from LCC Highways that no dogs were collected as injured or worse since christmas, good news x Helen

This has affected me so much , what I have not let known is I have MS and Stella is a real companion, it is her that makes me walk even if I don't feel like it I am lost without her and don't understand why anyone would just keep what is clear to see is a well looked after pet. I will have to go back to wales soon but don't really want to go.
stellasmum
No Stella went missing on the 25th December and has a chip, thank you for trying. Has anyone else got contacts with the road agency as all my calls to them have ended in nothing, this is one of the things on my list of things to do. Stella will be in the mercury this week and has been sent to over 500 people using FB, I will try to get an article in the mercury and want to know if DOGLOST is interested to be involved. I am beginning to think that someone is keeping her .

Have you contacted the RSPCA at Scudamore Rd in Leicetser?
Snowdrop
I can go out tomorrow and help search, poster etc but dont know the area that well xx
Ellie
Have spoken to Helen , Stellas owner who has cut short her holiday to search for her. Unfortunately, the microchip company does not recognize the one put in from the rescue kennels from where Stella was rehomed to her from. This and the fact that many authorities are difficult to get in touch with due to the holiday are not helping. Any helpers in that part of Leicester who could poster and distribute fliers or give local knowledge advice would be appreciated.
DogLostRiverlady
Have put Stella on twitter + will circulate.
Snowdrop
Shared on facebook. Time to go home Stella xxx
Ellie
