What a great New Year pressie eh! Well done to the two 9 y.o's for catching this lovely boy. NOW - let's all find the owner of that dark blue ford escort - 97 model....and castrate the thief! I'd microchip, tattoo brand - and castrate them if I could.Last edited: 2011-12-29 20:55:46 by Neighbark

WOO HOO!! Duke is home :) Just spoke to a very relieved owner. The police were at the house saying don't get your hopes up as he is not chipped and a call came through from a shop owner who had got him in the shop. Two 9 year old girls saw him, knew he was friendly from the posters and get him to follow them into the shop. Fantastic and thank you to the shop owner and the 2 very quick witted young ladies who led him to safety.

Duke is being chipped asap and a bigger wall put around the garden, just in case.

Welcome Home Duke, I take great pleasure in sending you into the blue. your family were amazing and so pleased you are back with them. Stay safe now boy. Big hugs from all at DogLost :))

Have spoken to Duke's owner. Duke is an outside dog and it is unsure if he has jumped the fence (very unusual) or he has been let out. A number of people saw him out at about 4am but did not let the owners know. One witness later saw him being put in a car, possibly without his collar.

Posters have been put up in the area, dog warden and police contacted. More posters are going up tomorrow, visiting Manchester Dogs Home and also advised to put up posters in local vets. The family are desperate to get him home.
