I'm so over the moon to say that Toby was found. He had wandered onto a nearby
busy road and been picked up by a member of the public who in time saw the posters
that I had put up. I would just like to thank the efforts of your team for the
reassuring sense that that Dog Lost was actually taking proactive steps to find him.
It was most comforting at a difficult time. Huge Thanks

Well you are doing all the right things ! Informed the right people so hopefully the little fella will be with you soon ! xxx

Hi and thanks for your help and comments. Toby is on Facebook, Twitter and I have stuck posters up in the area. I had one possible sighting of him in the E16 area - it may well have been him if he had travelled a mile down Barking Road. Newham Council & Battersea C&D Home have his details but so far nothing. Keeping my fingers crossed for a swift return

Like the advice says get some posters up as soon as you can
Someone may have taken him in over the hols until the council opens etc.
Check with Newham Animal Wardens as soon as you can, I have heard that they look on this site. Another place to check is Celia Hammond Animal Trust 151 Barking Rd, Plaistow ( Just google the number). I dont know their Xmas opening hours but someone may have handed him in there till The Dog Wardens are open. ( they dont normally deal with stray dogs but its worth a phone call/visit) Good luck
