- Thanks for posting kermit. I have advised the owners to check vets, wardens and rescues / kennels far and wide as it is a big walking area he went missing from.
tessa1 I have had a look at the found dog on animal search and to be honest I think it is quite a lot younger than Floyd. If you are unsure, please contact the owners to bring it their attention. thanks for posting.
And Saddleworth is a borough of Oldham :) - 2012-01-11 20:09 tessa1

- Just an up date... Floyd is also in the free paper Saddleworth News. Might be worth asking if you can put a photo of him on the web page.
As this is my area I will keep a lookout and re-facebook. But do we have anyone in Milnrow who could do the same at a local level?
Also might be worth checking out the Oldham, Tameside and Shaw vets as some of us no longer use our local vets.Last edited: 2012-01-11 17:16:20 by Kermit - 2012-01-11 10:49 Unknown
- Any news on Floyd? :)

- Just heard back from the Tameside Dog Warden and unfortunately it wasn't Floyd, the found was microchipped but at least he has a chance at finding his way home :)
Thank you to Emma who contacted me about the found dog, its very much appreciated x - 2012-01-03 14:47 Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester
- Had a report that an old westie has been found on Ashton Market. The lady who saw it couldn't hang around as she is 40 weeks pregnant but the dog was left with a stall holder and the the finder has rang the dog warden. Will try and contact the dog warden now - keeping my fingers crossed :)

- Thanks hippy chick, spoke to them last night and advised they visit MDH asap.
They have tried to report Floyd to the Oldham Dog Warden but only got an answering machine. I know Oldham share their warden with Tameside so have sent a message to the warden reporting Floyd, not received a reply yet but hopefully they are now aware. Floyd has already been reported to the AW's. - 2011-12-30 19:35 Unknown
- Just wondered if anyone has been to Manchester Dogs Home yet ? :)x

- Comment from a local lady on FB : Back from uppermill gave posters to village pets, the post office, RSPCA shop have put a poster in the front window, poster in community board on main road, the vets were closed so I put a poster in their mail box.
Thank you Hannah :) Hannah has also offered to help if a search is organised. - 2011-12-29 21:09 Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester
- Thanks Jan. Have now spoken to the owners and they are doing a great job already in spreading the news and postering. Saddleworth is a big walking area and is the start of the Pennine Way. Have mentioned maybe contacting vets, dog wardens further afield as if he has been found by a walker he may have been taken out of the area and reported to other dog wardens, vets, rescues etc. Keeping my fingers crossed Floyd is home soon :)
