- I just saw this on Facebook and it occurred to me she may have bought a lost/stolen patterdale so thought I'd post comment here.
"Aimee Jazmine Scott
Hi all i put a post on earlier regarding a patterdale terrier we got yesterday... Turns out he wasnt so lovely he bit my son and partner, previous owner did not tell us he bit. We have since given him back please be careful if you see one for sale for a very low cost on here or gumtree as it could be the same dog."
The page is called PETS...FOR SALE REHOME IN TAMESIDE, STOCKPORT, MANCHESTER http://www.facebook.com/groups/103590676346556/ - 2012-01-04 16:50 B30
- Owner has spoken to the finder of 35879 and it is a small puppy roughly 4 months old so sadly not Ted. The poster was not at the College but in Denstone Village notice board by the bus stop. Ted's disc was also a plastic Petlog one.

- Thanks Rottie, I've just emailed the owner in case they don't know about the posters, maybe the college has removed them. Also told them about your suggestion of the metal detector.

- Spoke to owner, dog was let off on College grounds and he went through a bush and vanished. She has spoken to farmers who say they have not seen him. He may have gone ratting or down a rabbit hole. He does know his way back to the house, so owners are concerned about him. This is a rural area. Owner is sending photo now. Liz xx
