Good to chat to you earlier Claire. I went back to the park again later around 3pm before I left the area. I stood for a while and scanned over the Rover East Works ground in case he was in there as I think it is possible that the little chap could get through the railings. Sadly nothing to see. As I mentioned earlier it is early days yet and please keep hopeful as they can turn up weeks, even months later. I am back in the area middle of the week but I dearly hope he is home with you all by then xxx.
claire
Thank you all for your help today. You have been brilliant. I just hope to god someone hands him over or sees him. Not one phonecall today at all :'-( xx
B30
Thanks to Ei and Sharon for your help today. We didn't find Gizmo but a lot more people know about him now. I put a poster inside the Village Hall on the notice board as there may be a NYE party in there tonight.

Eileen
I've put 2 posters at the entry to the path leading from the end of Chestnut Drive into the fields - one on the poo bin and one on the gate, and I gave DogLost cards to 3 dog walkers I bumped into there and told them about Gizmo and the posters. I haven't posted any flyers - I plan to take them with me on walks in the area and hand them to anyone I can. Try to keep, positive, Claire. I know it must be really hard. x
claire
Weve got posters all around cofton for him and local shops and vets etc. I think someone has stolen him :-( if anyone has posted any flyers please could you let me know where they have been posted so that i know whwre to start next. Thank uou xx
Sharongolfer
I didnt see Gizmo. I walked the bottom half of the park and up Grovely Lane but nothing. I think I would do some door knocking around the park and get people to check their gardens.
claire
Any news or updates anyone?? Going out of my mind :'-(
claire
Thank you, we have spoken to the security guards of the building sites so they are all aware. Thanks again for your help xx
Beaglemum
I am coming up to B'ham tomorrow for a few hours so will have a look around. If there is any building work going on at the old Rover East Works tomorrow it would be worth going over there to have a word with the workers.I have just emailed Gizmo's poster to my niece who walks her dogs in Cofton Park most days.Keep safe little one xxx. Have put Gizmo on twitter + will circulate.

Cofton Park is very large - I realise Gizmo may have run a way, but can the owner say whereabouts he went missing as that might help to start with. Cofton Park is very popular for dog-walking, and for football games - especially at the weekend, so any contacts with amateur football leagues locally might help. Hope he's home soon.

Have changed where lost to Cofton Park as never heard of a Coston Park, will confirm with owner.

Lots of places and undergrowth for a little dog to hide out there, hopefully he's in the bushes. If not a very popular dog walking park so someone may have picked him up. Lots of posters in case his collar has come off.
