Claire, I am so upset to hear this awful news. Please know Lulu is safe; nothing can ever harm her again. Sometimes our babies have to go early because they are so special and have already earnt their wings. God bless you Claire and your beautiful Lulu, safe in God's arms until you are reunited again. This time, you will never, ever be parted again. Listen for those little bells to ring......
And Claire, you did so well searching for Lulu and, you DID find her. She is no longer lost. xLast edited: 2012-01-29 20:57:29 by Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders

This is so sad and Claire and family did so much to try and find this little girl, we looked all day when she went missing and we just saw her advert with big colour picture in the paper again yesterday; we were sure someone must have picked her up and that all of the publicity would get her home. Such a lovely dog who will always know how much your family loved her. Our thoughts are with Lulu and all the family x

So sorry Claire for your sad loss of Lulu. I know it isn`t much consolation, but at least you can lay her to rest. Perhaps you could have a little "Funeral service". This may help you to come to terms with your sad loss. And one day you will be reunited with her, she hasn`t gone forever. Please Lulu look over Claire who really needs your strength at this time. Until you meet again. Night, night, sleep tight sweetheart. Remember she is only a whisper away. Sending Claire loads of comforting hugs, and healing thoughts for her sadness. God Blessxxx

Its with VERY deepest regret that i have to move Lulu to Rainbow Bridge :(

Lulu was found this afternoon under a hedge, not that far away. Claire is not sure what happened to her and will let us know when she's had time to come to terms with her loss. Claire is devastated!

Claire worked so hard to find Lulu, she and her family were out at every opportunity looking for her, they did EVERYTHING possible to find her and im sure Lulu knows that.

I'm truely sorry Claire & family for your loss of your gorgeous furbaby, Lulu, thinking of you all x
R.I.P. Lulu, run free, run pain free over the Rainbow Bridge, untill that very special day when you and your family are together once again xx
Jill
Shared on facebook I have family in that area who also have dogs, fingers and paws crossed for a move to blue soon x
Claire
Thank you Bluenoon for your lovely message x I will never give up but it does get difficult to stay positive which I'm sure you understand. So pleased you had a happy ending fingers crossed we do too. Thanks again x x

I am so sorry to hear about Lulu. Please keep going with all your hard work. Often if someone has taken your dog they will panic and return it somewhere in case they are found out. I am keeping everything crossed for you and I wish I lived closer so I could help. I lost my dog before Christmas so I know how it feels. Positive vibes all the way and NEVER give up x

BUMPED due to newspaper articles about Lulu ! Thankyou Claire for updating me on the latest meadia coverage for Lulu.Message from Claire as follows......... Sorry Pam just got your message, Lulu was in yesterdays 2 local papers, The NORTHUMBERLAND GAZZETTE & The BERWICK ADVERTISER, articles rather than adverts. Thanks again for your continuing help x x
..
Claire
I dont know what to say Gypsy, so very very kind of you x x There are so many kind people, overwhelmed! No news to tell just hoping the local papers give us some news, they are out tomorrow, fingers crossed!!!
Thanks again really appreciate your help x x
Gypsy
Hi Claire. I was in the area on Sunday handing out posters. Spoke to lots of locals and dogwalkers, the vast majority were aware of Lulu so her profile is definately growing! I work in a vets and have her poster in reception - also on the back window of my car which I'd encourage everyone else to do. I also tell everyone I come into contact with and it still doesn't seem enough!

I keep checking this page everyday willing it to move into the blue. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Take care. x
Claire
Thank you Katheryn x
Mal we had a sighting on Goswick/Coclawburn beach, south of Berwick on Sunday but after numerous searches nothing yet. Have spoken with lots of dog walkers & horse riders to keep a look out and have also put up more posters. Thanks again for offer of help, will keep you posted x

Bumped Lulu due to article in Journal Live

Mal
Have you had any further news or sightings Claire, we are happy to try and help if you have.
Mal.
Claire
Mal I can't believe that!! How kind! thank you so so much, you lovely people x
Mal
We managed to walk around Lucker, Belford and Warenford yesterday morning and afternoon, dog walkers knew the story but nothing sighted, we didnt drive to Duns but happy to meet up next weekend or before if you get any sightings? Good look and hopefully all the publicity will help as someone may be lying low with her for now. Mal.
Claire
Hi, so sorry I have not updated here have got carried away with the fb page. We have now spent 3 days in Duns and have spoken to so many people (lots of dog walkers) put up lots of posters and done our own searches on foot and in cars. I feel I now need to leave this in the hands of the good people in Duns for any more news. We had a possible sighting this morning south of Berwick but unfortunately it was not Lulu. Everyone has been so kind which makes me stay positive Gypsy. Thank you Mal & Gypsy for your kind offer of help but at the moment with no regular sightings not sure what to suggest.X X X
Mal
Claire if not found by sunday we are planning to come up to walk around Lucker area for the morning anfd if you think it is best go up to Duns later? Will check in regularly for updates and good luck!
Mal

Gypsy thanks for offering to help Claire x if you do go up to help it would be excellent if you could also print a poster or two up to take with you and put them in an area where there may not be any postering yet as Lulu could have gone in any direction.Sadly despite searching for several hours last night Claire and friends didnt manage to find the wandering dog which had been sighted and reported as a possible match for Lulu. The lady who saw the dog looked at other photos Claire has of Lulu and still felt certain the dog she had seen was Lulu. Also a shopkeeper has reported seeing a similar dog wandering in the area recently. Claire if you return to this area again to look for Lulu please put posters up there and it would be a good idea to write on them that there has been a possible sighting of her in that area so that locals may be a bit more vigilant in keeping their eyes open. I hope she is found soon x Last edited: 2012-01-06 09:55:16 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Claire you have done a great job with the adverts as just seen it in the Newcastle Journal, I travel around the north east with work so will of course keep an eye out as she is a very distictive dog. Was she stolen or did she just escape; we may try and come up if she isnt found by sunday to walk the area with our dog. Good luck! Mal
Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
BUMPED as LULU has media coverage in todays following publications MORPETH HERALD and NORTH EAST JOURNAL.She should also have been in the NORTHUMBERLAND GaZETTE but for some reason the advert has not appeared but the Gazette have put her her their website. Are you going to ask the Gazette to carry the advert next week instead Claire ? Hoping so much that this media coverage brings news of this much loved girl xLast edited: 2012-01-05 10:15:50 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Hi Claire, thank you for posting and keeping us updated. You are doing a BRILLIANT job and im sure all your hard work will pay off in the end :)) Thank you also for the addtional information about the area you live in, will copy and paste for everyone else to see, which could help when looking for her:

"The very small village of Lucker lies 1 mile east of the A1, there are two roads into the village, the B1341 leaves the A1 at Adderstone and is signposted for Bamburgh, Seahouses. The other road leaves the A1 at Warenford (no road number) and is again signposted for Lucker, Bamburgh. Our house is the first house when entering the village on this road and this is where Lulu went missing from.

We are 15 miles South of Berwick-Upon-Tweed, 5 miles south of Belford and 12 miles North of Alnwick."Last edited: 2012-01-02 10:55:09 by Maggie
