- Its a long shot but I was on a walk at Happy Valley in Coulsdon on Sunday and a lady found a liver & white springer spaniel that had its tail docked. It had no ID tag on. The lady walked about 2 miles to the Fox Pub and nobody claimed the dog which we all thought was strange. Nobody in the car park or in the pub had lost a dog so she took the dog home. It might be worth a visit to the car park at the start of the Happy Valley walk and to post a poster or contact details as I'm sure the lady will be back. As I say it's a long shot and the dog may have been reunited with its owner but the fact that on this entire walk not a single person there had lost a dog and yet this dog was a long way away from any houses.

- Also sorry to hear about this :( Not sure it's the same ID 35863 as that l&w has a full tail and according to this both Mo & Ivy have docked tails...
Shared on facebook and poster up in local fields so other dog walkers can also keep a look out. Also posted on COL forums as a few live in your area so may spot something.Last edited: 2012-01-02 20:42:10 by Miadanu - 2012-01-02 13:18 issywilson

- Sorry to hear about Mo and Ivy. I will post a link on Rescue Remedies forum as most of us are fairly local and will keep our eyes and ears open. The more people that know about your dogs the more likely it is they will be found.

- Sorry to see that MO AND IVY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (35794)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
