- So pleased to see Bobby in the "Reunited" list. Shows what a brilliant website this is - and that it works.

- Just had a phone cxall from the owner of Bobby and she got him back yesterday. Apparently the lady who picked him up had taken him to a vet to be scanned but no microchip was detected. She has looked after him very well and by chance saw him on DOGLOST on Monday. Owner is going to going to her vet to check out the chip. Welcome home little man.

- Has there been any update on Bobby.?? I would have thought this one would be pretty easy to solve if this has been caught on cctv. x

- I wish the Wyre Forest & District Dog Warden would take a
bit of interest in this web site and post as other dog wardens do. It's so fantastic to get dog wardens communicating and showing such an interest. If all dog wardens worked with the rest of us, then together - we could find and reunite more dogs - and really give these dog-thieves a hard time! I'd love them all to be named and shamed. Above all - I'd like the 7 day rule extended, especially to stolen dogs, AND get all dog wardens top of the range scanners. I believe the Wyre Forest dog warden doesn't even have a scanner, and I KNOW the council pounds scanner is very hit and miss!! - 2012-01-04 11:45 Sherlock Bones Police Liaison Co-ordinator

- Bumped due to new information. Bobby ran out of an open door and across the road. He was hit by a car but got up and ran off. Owner gave chase but lost sight of him. About half an hour later she went into a local shop, owned by a Sri Lankan gentleman and he told her that Bobby had been taken by a local lady. He has CCTV footage of her. Owner has put up a couple of posters, contacted the vets, police, Battersea, and dog wardens. I have advised she saturate the area with posters and flyers. Am going to make some up and email them to her.Last edited: 2012-01-03 14:16:51 by AlisonH

- Tonight I had an encounter with a ( I think ) polish girl.
I went into Tesco express on downham high street ( not a million miles from Shirley ) and there was a puppy yorkie tied up to a lamp post right next to main road.
The pup was scared, and getting caught up with lead, I went over to it and this girl came out the Chinese takeaway shouting at me, I told her I was just petting him, and said she shouldn't tie dogs up like that incase they get stolen, especially a cute pup like that, but she didn't really understand me. I thought of this pup that was missing.
Any more news on location , posters etc ? - 2012-01-02 16:06 bertiejess
- went for a general drive around shirley, lower addiscombe road and other surrounding roads but didn't see anything. If the owner could give a more precise location that would be a great help!
