Visited Halewood RSPCA today and seen Simba again. His new adoptive family have been visiting with their own dog to get to know him before he goes home with them. Keeping everything crossed all goes well and we see him rehomed with his new owners soon. :) xxx

He has now got a reserve on him and will be REHOMED when home checks have been done. He has been named Simba. Will move him into the BLUE when it has been confirmed he has gone to his new home. Keeping everything crossed everything goes to plan. xxx

Update today from RSPCA, he is still up for rehoming and does not have a reserve on him.

He will be moved to the REHOMING block and WILL NOT BE PTS which has been suggested on other sites, when comments like this are posted it always causes a stir.

Halewood RSPCA do a great job in rehoming dogs that have not been claimed and some are taken by rescues they deal with. Sure it won't be too long before this boy finds the right family to love him. x

Thanks for the update Karen. :) x

I totally agree with all the comments posted, he will looks like he will be a great addition to any family. He has gone past the statutory 7 days and will now be up for rehoming after home checks are done if owner did not claim him. x

Someone that saw the doglost/found poster i put on a forum went to the kennels to visit this boy with a view to giving him a home this is what he said........
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We went over on Sunday to have a look, he is a great handsome dog. They were all barking except for him. He almost looked like he was waiting for someone. We were introduced to him outside of his kennel (inside the centre) and to say he is gentle is an understatement. My only concern for us was his size as we already have a large lab. On reflection and after much thought we realised we don’t have enough space, were both gutted.

He will make a lovely companion for someone even if you have a small dog or children, not sure about a cat though. If anyone is seriously interested in giving him a home, he is well worth it; he is in Halewood RSPCA and is number 72. Hopefully soon he will be more than a number and have a name and a home.....

so he's still waiting for someone to love him xxx

I seen this lovely boy yesterday, he is well groomed. Owner has still not come forward, the kennels have had interest in him but no-one has of yet put a RESERVE on him. If anyone is interested please do visit the kennels and see him. The RSPCA will do a HOME CHECK. xxx
