- Have only just seen this. So glad I posted this - nearly did not because of the date. Really pleased it worked out.

- I spotted the ad on Gumtree on Saturday, saw jansus has already made the connection so I emailed the links for Wigwam and Polo to the finder for them to take a look at the photo and to confirm date they were found. Didn't get a reply so assumed they had already been reunited elsewhere. So pleased it was them, well done jansus and Welcome Home Wigwam and Polo :)

- jansus, It's possible I suppose that the finder of the two you mentioned got the date wrong (bank holiday mix-up and all that?)

- Thanks Riverlady - I have spoken with owners today = there have been no sighting of this pair, it is possible that they have gone down a hole but owners are unsure if they would both get stuck in the same hole, there are no pictures of Wigwam but he is described as very similar to Polo but an all white body unless wet when dark body spots can be seen - will put forward for CMW inclusion

- Have put both on twitter + will circulate.

- Just checking that these were actually lost after 2/1/2012? Its just that there is an advert on gum tree for two jack russells found near oxford on the second of January. No other details given.

- The recycling centre just down the road from the garden centre also attracts a lot of people, so would be worth asking if they'd display some posters too.

- If I'm right then it is near the garden centre and also Booker airfield, who might also display some posters.

- Meant to ask if this is anywhere near the Nottcutts garden centre? Might be worth asking them to display some posters.

- Hi lucy sp. Have you checked to see if they've been handed in to Stokenchurch Dog Rescue? I would also check with rescues a bit further away just incase - such as Dogs Trust at Harefield and Battersea Old Windsor. Also, leave an item of clothing with your scent on it where you last saw them, as hopefully that will make them stay in the area x

- Ok, so it's the woods behind Booker - on Google maps it's called Spring Coppice, and has Lane End Road cutting through it? Will get over there for a walk and look this weekend if they're not found by then. Will email posters to Wycombe Wanderers football ground which at the other side of the woods.
