Ooops It was not me that reunited Lucy. I was just looking out as I was up in town. I do agree that the person who confronted "finder" was brilliant. I think everyone on here is wonderful and so caring xx
Goldenfrodo

Now howz that for luck AND pluck! Well done to the fiesty helper that 'grabbed' little Lucy back. Absolute SHAME on the person who'd got her! NAME AND SHAME - wish you would! ANyway, so glad this gorgeous little doggie is back with her family. Wonder how many dogs are walking around with owners they'd rather not have? Great that she's so distinctive.

I'm so pleased. I was up in town yesterday and keeping a look out. It does not surprise me sadly that the finder was not letting people know. I think they are in denial and lie to themselves, otherwise the lost section would be near empty on here. xxLast edited: 2012-01-08 20:57:49 by reggiemollieros

Welcome home Lucy. No wonder Lucy is a little subdued, when she has been taken for a walk on a strange lead by a person she has never met before. Given lots of tlc, I am certain that she will be fine again within a couple of days, now she is in her familiar environment and back with her family. Sending Lucy loads of hugs from mexxxxxx:-)

Crikey, how lucky was that? Welcome home, Lucy, hope the "dognapper" realised she was in the wrong and was ashamed of herself.x

What a story. Very well done. I always think that someone would not just take in a found dog without trying to find the owner. How wrong can you be.

Well done helper....

Lucy is home. One of "Team Lucy's" wonderful helpers was out putting up posters when a woman walked past with Lucy on a lead ! As it was obvious the dog wasn't hers & she should have reported her as being found to the authorities, the helper was given Lucy without too much persuasion needed! Lucy is rather subdued but seems to be ok. Welcome home sweetheart & thank you to all who helped at this very distressing time for the owner.

I have spoken to Lucy's owner. It is very likely that Lucy has been taken by someone. There is a reward for Lucy's safe return. Owner is putting Lucy into local papers, police are aware & cctv footage is being checked.I will put Lucy up on Facebook Doglost West London & request twitter.Lucy was taken from the area near Euston Station,Ossulston St/Charlton St on Christmas day.Last edited: 2012-01-05 16:21:55 by Aunt Stef - Area Volunteer, West London
