- Lucky, lucky dogs, it could have turned out so badly for there 2, well done especially to the police, hope further action will be taken? Proves how important posters are.And yes, TracyB, neutering and chipping a great idea, neutered dogs are far less attractive to thieves for all sorts of reasons.xx

- THIS IS JUST BRILLIANT NEWS and has made my day !! Blue and Lexy's owners are still on cloud nine and so happy to have their dogs back safe and sound. I would like to say a VERY BIG thankyou to the person who gave the owners the address where they were being held and I hope the police take this matter further. There are too many people out there who think they can just take possession of other peoples pets without any thought or care about the distress to both the owners and the dogs concerned. This is one for the good guys !! With great pleasure i would like to say welcome home to gorgeous Blue and Lexy and please stay safe from now on xx Last edited: 2012-01-07 21:08:32 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

- Fantastic news - was concerned the same as others that these would fall into wrong hands. PLEASE neuter & chip asap - a dog that cant breed is less likely to be taken & we have so many been dumped at the moment - it sad.
But for these two thanks to tip off & excellent responce from police they are home. - 2012-01-07 18:24 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- Phew...just in time then for these two...

- Thats fantastic news!! I was just coming on here to say that someone on my FB groups was 100 per cent sure they had seen Blue on Gumtree for sale! They rang the number, not knowing he was missing at the time but no answer and the Ad on gumtree had been taken off - Really glad these two are home, stay safe little ones xLast edited: 2012-01-07 15:45:17 by Maggie

- They are home...many thanks to the police...the posters worked and owner was given an address where they were being held...he went to the place and saw his dogs in distress in the house....phoned police who came out and broke the door down to get them out...no further details as yet but weel done to the police for acting....guess he must have been a dog owner.

- very sadly there is still now news of Blue and Lexy. Their owner has contacted the police with regard the man mentioned in my post below who put them in his car claiming he knew who they belonged to. Lots of postering is being done and owners are trying to get media coverage. There is a REWARD for the return of Lexy and Blue !

- Blue and Lexy escaped from their home last night when the door opened accidentally. Their owner has had a report from a lady who saw both dogs early this morning near Hyde Park Corner but a man who was black and well built stopped in a silver (possibly hatchback type ) car and said he knew whose dogs they were and put them in his car and drove off with them. Owners have contacted the police, dog wardens and local stray kennels. I have advised that they try to get media coverage and to POSTER as much as they can to raise maximum public awareness. Hoping for some news of Lexy and Blue very soon Last edited: 2012-01-04 21:45:01 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
