- If the dog is smooth coated and has been castrated then it may be my partners, he was lost on the 11th December 2011, Dingley, Northants, possibly driven off in a red van .. Local travellers sites were visited. He is chipped but will be registered to Leicester Animal Aid. His name is Lenny (Leon originally), he was a year old in November 2011. A photo would be handy.

- Is the dog rough coated? This is a bit of a long shot but a friend of mine had his black lurcher stolen from West Wales at the end of November. He is black with a white chest and quite rough coated. Do you have any photos of him? The dog's name is Brandy.

- Just had an update :)
Hi Lorraine..I managed to speak to vets this morning and he is still there, they think that they might have a fosterer but really would like a forever home, I have given them the number of the Kent Greyhound Rescue and she said she would ring them straight away and would talk to Allyson, that is all I know a the moment. The vet said she didn't want it to go into kennels, but didn't mind fosterer, so I suppose it is between them two now. xx If I hear anything else I will let you know x

- Jayne, The same thing happened with a found Kent dog last week which I reported and going through the search list quite a few have postcodes missing. Let me know if it is something I can volunteer to add for you as I appreciate the admin involved in this site must be a full time job.

- The region and postcode has been left blank on this listing which will make it so much harder for the owner to find this lurcher. I think Gillingham is an ME postcode in Kent.
