- I live at Thornton Heights and walk my 4 dogs so will keep eyes and ears open. Can help postering on Sunday if Jess is still not home. Can i suggest posters in co-op, post office, farmshop, schools - Thornton, Keelham, also pubs - especially Rock & Heifer, Hill Top, Duke of York, also maybe down into Allerton - co-op etc. Lots of farms around, Jess well may have found herself a temporary home locally. x

- Hi I saw a stray border collie in the BD6 area i tried to catch it but was unsuccessful. Did your dog have a collar on? if so what colour was it and did it have any tags on?

- Thanks Phoenix57 .... I have passed this info onto the owners.The night jess vanished from her garden some cows had escaped from nearby fields and got into the garden. It is thought Jess would have been very scared by them and run off because of this. She may have run scared for a while and now be lying low somwhere. her owners have contacted the dog warden and Fleet kennels and will be visiting them in person with a poster.I have given them the phone number for Alfies kennels They are going to contact Petlog ASAP.
