Bonny is finally home - at last !

Bonny's owner has been in touch with the ECDH since the day Bonny went missing. This is what I have been told. She was reported missing to the nearest police station, but the one who called her yesterday to say she had been found was a different one and I always tell owners that they do not communicate - about dogs anyway. Both police stations gave her a different story and she was very distressed after thinking that her dog would be brought home to her and then to be told by someone else that it was at the ECDH (pound) and had been there since the day she went missing. This has now been found to be incorrect -we think - and Bonny is supposed to be getting taken to police station today where she can be picked up.Is it so difficult for a correct record to be kept and for police stations to keep a database for pets ??Last edited: 2012-01-06 16:38:26 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland

Um back to lost for Bonny...police have made a blunder and no one seems to know where she is..they told owner she would have bonny back at 4pm and that she was handed into the cats and dogs home on Monday....the home says she was not handed in
Mistaken ID ...police do not seem to know where she has gone...they say the cats and dogs home...they say no...we know how busy these places are...can I STRESS to owners you have to go along yourselves to view....all dog rescues and kennels are overwhelmed with dogs all year round...they cannot all ways match up..or have time to...And please you dont make their job easier or theirs by having no ID on your dog

Looks like Bonny has been found. A family had taken her in, and police are supposed to be picking her up and taking her to the owner today.Last edited: 2012-01-06 16:37:42 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland
