I heard that Maccabee Kennels rehomed a dog described as beige and white Greyhound. I have been trying to contact them for nearly a month now but they won't answer my emails.

There hasn't been any more phone calls or sightings for nearly two weeks now. I am going to put up some new posters close to home, just to jog peoples memories. Louie has settled in well, and most people in the park have thought that Willow was back, because he looks just like her, but a lot bigger. It's nice to have a dog back in the house, but I still want Willow back.

Sorry computer been acting up for a couple of days. the lady in Croydon said she had seen a dog in Bridle avenue, Shirley. Have not been able to contact her yet. will try again over the weekend. Willow's brother is coming to stay with us, his current owner says he is a bit of a handful and keeps chasing her cat. So hopefully we can get Willow home in time to see him. Thanks everybody for all your help.

Hi, newcomer Bob at Croydon. Just printed some posters and will put some along Purley Way- Sainsbury's , DIY stores ,Local garage, etc. We do get Travellers moving in and out of this area. Is there any more info. as to where seen in Croydon,etc? With enough people looking out, we must get a result. Good luck.

Thanks Milliemoe, I went to South Ockenden yesterday, there is a massive gypsy site there. Postered all along their road. And I spoke to a couple of them on a smaller site where there had been a report of a similar Lurcher. Turned out the man had a lurcher himself same colour as willow but they were kind enough to take a poster and said they would keep a look out. also had a call from Shirley in Croydon!! But I can't get all the way over there. But will investigate anyway. I have reason to believe that she is not on star lane anymore. But am going to Swanley town centre tomorrow to put up some posters around Asdas etc. also its market day there so more people will be in town.

Want to say thank you to Charlie on Radio Kent for talking to me, I was a bit nervous. But a strange thing happened later. About 10.45 that night I had a phone call and a little boy with an Irish accent told me he had seen Willow in Swanley with 2 boys being walked up a lane, near St Mary Cray, yest it's Star lane again. I thought he was going to say he had the dog and wanted money, but maybe he will ring back. He probably saw the posters near star lane. Now I'm totally at a loss as to where she might be. I saw someone yesterday who has contact with someone on Star Lane and she said that he told her the dog is definately not there.

Great mention on Radio Kent/Solent/Berkshire/Oxfordshire/Southern Counties yesterday! Presenter wants to hear when Willow comes home! Owner following up tip off at the moment - fingers crossed today folks. Have sent Willow's poster to a friendly policeman who deals with illegal coursing in the Essex/Herts/Bucks areas who may see her on his travels... lets hope eh.

A lurcher like Willow has been seen outside a gypsy camp in south ockenden. I am going to drive over on Monday and have a look, apparently the dog has only been seen in the past two weeks. Fingers crossed. Maybe Tazzy's mum was right about essex!!!

Millie put posters up in the nearest roughest pub and make sure you put ?100 reward in figures-as not all can read and write. I say ?100 because they always say they want double what you ask and petrol money-the going rate now is around ?200. Also target the fish and chip shop and local garages-as they all drive hungary 4 wheel drives!

To millie Moo, thank you for the offer but please don't attempt to go near the site , it is Star Lane, apparently not a nice place at all. Maybe a few posters nearby would help. I had another false alarm this morning, Radio Kent said yesterday that a Lurcher had been found near Sevenoaks, but when I phoned it was only a pup about 8mths old, is there any more lucrhers missing in kent area. Contact Radio Kent for info.

Hi, I am in Sidcup/Orpington area, and am willing to visit/look at the gypsy site you were talking about - any idea whereabouts it is? Also, a good tip, a friend of mine lost their dog a couple of years ago and was informed that a dog same os hers was on a gipsy site by her childs health visitor. Turned out is was her dog. Health visitors have to visit these sites on a regular basis to check the children, and would see any dogs that were on a particular site. Worth a phonecall to them? You never know. Let me know if you want me to look or put up any posters.

Hi All, I've been computer-less for the last week so only just seen the email about Willow. I'll spread the word here in Chatham and keep a look out around any gypsy sites, though I can't think of any to go to. My partner has several friends in Dartford/Gravesend so will get him to ask them to look out too. We have a lovely Lurcher ourselves, they seem to be so commonly stolen, it's awful. I'm sure that if we all pull together, we'll find Willow soon. Sara.

Jayne - because Danson Park/Welling is on the A2 do you think you could please do an email to helpers in the SS and CM postcodes (to cover just over the Dartford Tunnel and also ME to cover the other direction on the A2? Had a call from Battersea about a Lurcher brought in Saturday from Bexley area, but not Willow. So if anyone has lost a Lurcher in Bexley area, apparently a sable/cream colour with a funny eye. Approximately 2-3 years old not speyed, they should contact Battersea in London.
