- I have just had a call from Paddys delighted owners to say he has been found !!! He had been spotted hiding under bushes a few streets away but wouldnt let people approach him. He seems to be fine with no obvious injuries and was probably just terrified after being hit by the car.Now back home with his owners he seems to be his usual self but they are taking him to the vets to be checked out to be on the safe side and he will be getting a chip ASAP. welcome home Paddy and please stay safe from now on xx

- Ok, it could still be in 2 different directions because the roads are long ones. and George-a-green is off the middle of Warterton road. I was going to go looking earlier but it could be of massive help to know which direction he was headed in.

- Which roar was he hit on? was it wakefield road or Horbury road? it makes a difference as to where he might have gone and if he frightened of strangers? I would have thought that Thornes park and the golf course next to it would the the best places to look for him.

- Paddy escaped from his garden and his owners were alerted by a neighbour that he had been hit by a car (which didnt stop !!!) near to his home and had run off yelping in the direction of George-a Green -Avenue at around 6.30 last night. They were out searching for him all last night and again this morning. They are contacting local stray kennels, dog warden etc and I have advised they get as many posters up as they can. Hopefully Paddy was only clipped by the car and may have been taken in by someone who will report this to the dog warden which they are required to do BY LAW. Owners would be grateful for any local helpers who could assist with searching, postering and spreading the word about Paddy. Hoping this boy is found very soon.
